Integrating a third-party API is far more than calling an endpoint. Each of these is wired with idempotent requests, signed webhooks, retry queues and reconciliation, so money and messages never get lost — even when a provider has a bad day. I treat every integration as production code: logged, monitored and with explicit error handling at every edge.
